NODE served as a center for a community of HSI-STEM researchers and practitioners focused on advancing knowledge, policy, and practice to bolster upward mobility of students enrolled at HSIs and STEM workforce development.
To this end, NODE hosted workshops and webinars on evaluating HSI STEM projects for grantees new to project evaluation or with extensive experience. Coffee Chats were held to build community, providing a space for sharing stories, exchanging experiences and understandings, and networking. Virtual office hours were held for one-on-one and team conversations to support the evaluation of HSI STEM projects and offer just-in-time tips and solutions to problems.
